Your StarSense Explorer 10" Dobsonian telescope may be kept cool with the Celestron USB Cooling Fan. This useful add-on quickly cools the main mirror to the outside temperature for people who are impatient to see. As a result, you have more time to observe and sights that are clearer and more precisely focused.
This cooling fan is powered by any USB power supply and mounts easily to the back cell of the StarSense Explorer 10" Dobsonian (portable power banks, AC wall adapters, and more). You can unplug the USB power source from the fan once the main mirror has cooled down, and you are ready to see.
To stay organised, attach the cable to the built-in storage clip.
The Cooling Fan's Power Source
The cooling fan can be charged using any USB power supply. This USB Cooling Fan for Dobsonian Telescopes does not need throwaway batteries or an extra, cumbersome 12V power supply, unlike other fans on the market. Compared to rival versions, this fan utilises less voltage (5V as opposed to 12V).
Nevertheless, thorough internal testing demonstrates that the Celestron Cooling Fan outperforms rivals in terms of airflow and cooling speed.
The USB Cooling Fan for Dobsonian Telescopes is compatible with the StarSense Explorer 10” Dobsonian telescope and many other third-party Dobsonians and Newtonian Reflectors that have a compatible fan mount (four M4 x 0.7 threaded holes in a square pattern with holes spaced 71.5mm apart).
