The Celestron NexStar Evolution 6 Computerised Telescope is the world's first Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope that include built-in Wi-Fi. With a tap of your smartphone or tablet, you can view all the best celestial objects while leaving your hand control at home. Connect your device to NexStar Evolution's built-in Wi-Fi network and use the Celestron mobile app for iOS and Android to explore the universe.

Observe the night sky in real time using the planetarium interface, or display a list of celestial objects that are visible at the time and location you specify. The Celestron mobile app includes our patented SkyAlign alignment method, so you'll be ready to observe in minutes.

Celestron engineers designed the NexStar Evolution 6 based on years of customer feedback to create the most user-friendly telescope ever. It has numerous intelligent design features that work together to give you the finest experience possible out under the sky.

Don't bother with an external power supply or batteries, the NexStar Evolution incorporates its own built-in battery for the first time on a consumer telescope. You'll be able to enjoy stargazing marathons of up to 10 hours on a single charge with this ultra-long life lithium-iron phosphate battery. You can also utilise the NexStar Evolution's USB charging port to charge your other gadgets and stay powered during your observation session. When your telescope's battery levels are low, a sophisticated power management system automatically switches to power-saving mode to keep your telescope functioning.

With broad, ergonomic handles, setting up your NexStar Evolution is simple and painless. A metal accessory tray with indentations for storing and carrying the tripod is included with the all-metal tripod. Leg etchings assist you in achieving a level, uniform height for your telescope during setup. Manual clutches in both altitude and azimuth allow you to manually point the telescope while it is turned off. Up to 7 eyepieces can be stored in two accessory trays, one of which has an adjustable red LED illumination.

If you're interested in astroimaging, the 6-inch NexStar Evolution is a great place to start. It's the only fork-mounted telescope in its price range, featuring brass worm gears and upgraded motors. The tracking precision of the NexStar Evolution is so good that you can snap photographs of deep-sky objects like the Orion Nebula by simply attaching your DSLR camera. As your astroimaging passion progresses, you may add our HD Pro Wedge to obtain longer exposures for more detailed astrophotos. When used with the CPC tripod (available separately), the NexStar Evolution is compatible with the wedge.

Of course, the Schmidt-Cassegrain optical system provides brilliant, sharp views with StarBright XLT optical coatings, making it an excellent choice for both visual observers and aspiring astroimagers.

NexStar Evolution has four auxiliary ports, two on top of the fork and two on the bottom. Although a traditional NexStar+ hand control is included, it is not required when using NexStar Evolution with the mobile app. A StarPointer finderscope, two 1.25" Plossl eyepieces, a 1.25" star diagonal, and an AC adapter are all included with the telescope.
