CCTV Memory

Video surveillance cameras have for many years been used by business owners to protect their premises, however over recent years CCTV camera systems have become more common place in homes. Sadly many homeowners now feel the need to install CCTV cameras to protect themselves and their home. 

Most CCTV cameras use Micro SD cards to back up recorded data, there is now only one range of cards that are suitable for use in these type of cameras, this is called Endurance Micro SD memory.

Standard Micro SD memory is compatible and will work for a limited period, however it is not suitable for continuous use devices and will eventually wear out. The product warranty is invalidated in non Endurance memory if used in a continuous use device.

​Endurance memory is generally a little more expensive than standard memory as it is produced from higher quality memory wafer and is now recognised as the only memory suitable for CCTV cameras.

​Endurance Micro SD memory is specifically produced for use in CCTV camera systems, Endurance memory is available from leading brands such as SanDisk, Samsung, Kingston and Transcend.
