I have a Sony DAT recorder taking up space in my hi-fi rack. Plays beautifully, but obsolete now. I have 50 2-hour DAT tapes full of music. I copied the tapes to my computer and put the whole lot on this 128 Gb SD card. I spent something like 500 for the DAT tapes and under 17 for the SD card. Bargain. Can't tell the difference in sound. It is all digital, after all...
