Packages like this have instructions to open on the reverse, simply cut across the top then open like an envelope.

Purchased for my honor 8x to boost memory. Once installed memory card has 197GB of usable memory. I did format the card before using but to be honest have used a smaller card without formatting in my girlfriends phone without any adverse consequences.

All SanDisk cards are preformatted for use in compatible devices and don't need to be formatted for first use. Please ensure the correct formatting option is used for the capacity you have.
