Royal Mail / Parcelforce

Royal Mail are stating:  "We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. If resourcing issues, associated self-isolation and safety measures prevent this, we’ll deliver at least every other day. It’s only in extreme cases – where offices are severely affected by absence levels - that this may not be possible. Despite best efforts some services may be disrupted."

Parcelforce have indicated that they will not be reinstating the guarantee on Express24 until the 07/09/2021, this means we will continue to offer a 1-2 working day service rather than a guaranteed next working day service until that point or otherwise advised.  Please allow for the possibility of slight delays.  All deliveries are tracked & contact free.

Royal Mail - Inconsistencies with delivery

We continue to ship orders as quickly as we possibly can, either on the day of ordering or the next working day. Royal Mail and Parcelforce also continue to do a fantastic job, almost all of our mail and courier deliveries are arriving on time, however, there have been occasional inconsistencies with delivery across the country. We thank you for your patience and help in allowing slightly longer than normal if there is a delay, especially with orders placed over the busy Easter Weekend.

"Despite our best endeavours, it’s likely some areas of the country will experience some level of disruption due to Coronavirus-related absences at local mail centres or delivery offices. We’re working hard to collect, process and deliver as much mail and parcels as possible in difficult circumstances. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. If resourcing issues, associated self-isolation and safety measures prevent this, we’ll deliver at least every other day. It’s only in extreme cases – where offices are severely affected by absence levels - that this may not be possible."   Royal Mail.

Warehouse Resumes Shipping.

Further to our short interruption to shipping over the holiday period we have resumed operations at our warehouse.
Royal Mail are still warning of inconsistent services throughout the UK - read more here: https://www.royalmail.com/coronavirus "The combination of greatly increased uptake of online shopping, in no small part driven by the current lockdown, and the ongoing COVID restrictions mean that all delivery companies are experiencing exceptionally high volumes." Mail delivery could be fine in your local area, however, please be aware that there may be problems in other areas where mail passes through. Carriers are still not guaranteeing Next Day services, and we continue to reflect this in our delivery options, we hope to re-instate this as soon as we can.

Many thanks for your continued support & patience.

Temporary Warehouse Closure

Online ordering is suspended.
We regret to inform you that our warehouse has suffered a Covid-19 outbreak and has had to close temporarily.
The safety and welfare of our staff is extremely important to us and as a result we have taken the decision to close the warehouse temporarily.
Unfortunately we had no option but to suspend shipping orders, all orders currently in the system will be shipped as soon as is safely possible.
We hope to resume shipping within a week or so, should circumstances allow.
Please accept our sincerest apologies for any delays to orders this causes at this crucial time.

Parcelforce Courier Update -  Parcelforce stated: "Last night we processed over half a million parcels in the network. This is the type of volume we see over Black Friday weekend and running up to Christmas. As you know due to the current pandemic we are unable to bring in extra resource to help sort these parcels. Our depots and operational staff are doing everything they physically can to keep parcels moving and get deliveries and collections done during these extremely challenging times. Can I please ask you to manage your customers’ expectations over the next few days as we will not be able to deliver these numbers on time and there will be delays. If you are an internet seller a note on the system to advise of delays will help. I know most of you have this already. Plans are been put in place currently for the weekend again so that deliveries are done over the weekend."

28/04/20

Royal Mail Saturday Delivery Suspended -  Royal Mail stated: "To manage these severe absence levels, we are implementing a range of mitigations. These include changing the time guarantee on Special Delivery, deploying non-operational managers in delivery and temporarily no longer delivering letters on a Saturday."  Some of our smaller items ship on this letter post service, however our small packets and parcels should not be affected by this change.

21/04/20 - 16.00hrs

Courier Delivery Time Increased - Delivery estimate has been lengthened from 2-3 working days to 2-5 working days due to volume restrictions with the couriers we use, DPD and Parcelforce.  Time of deliveries is dependent on specific areas, some deliveries will still be on the 2nd day.

08/04/20

Next Day Delivery Guarantee Suspended - We have taken the decision to suspend our guaranteed next day delivery option.
Our regular carriers for this service, Royal Mail, Parcelforce and DPD are not currently able to offer consistent next working day services due to staff shortages and increased mail volumes. We hope to be able to re-instate the service at some point soon.

A message to our customers.

In light of the uncertainty surrounding the recent outbreak of COVID-19, our priority continues to be the well-being of our customers, employees and partners, and we are committed to ensuring that deliveries are operating in the safest way for all. We would like to reassure customers that we are taking all necessary steps to follow the guidance given by the government and the World Health Organisation at this time.

We continue to be committed to getting your deliveries to you; our website and warehouse remain open with deliveries generally running as normal, with the exception of some next day services not being guaranteed. Our warehouse works to strict health & safety and public health guidelines and we are continually working with our delivery partners to make sure that we are operating in the safest way possible.

Finally, we are aware that the above may change as advice by the government and World Health Organisation also changes. As we continue to navigate these challenging and uncertain times, we will endeavour to react to any new directives.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you, our team and partners for your continued support.
