Sunday, 26 February 2017  |

Bought this as a gift for my son and they are easy to set up and use. Great for stargazing beginners.

Good product and good price

These are suitable for both terrestrial and astronomical use. However, without a tripod I found it difficult to keep the image stable. Light gathering and clarity are excellent, however. My own disappointment was that I could not get a perfect focus, even using the diopter, which may be down to my eyes or equally likely that my binoculars were not perfectly collimated. I have decided that 20x80 may be better all round for my needs.

Highly recommended..

I own a Skywatcher 200p telescope but sometimes feel a chore to put together by myself due to its weight. I bought these Skymaster binoculars as I wanted a pair of decent binoculars for stargazing. The tripod adapter is a bit flimsey but don't let this deter you. The images are crystal clear which is all you want really..

Very happy with these binoculars and would recommend them to anyone wanting a good pair at an affordable price.

Heavy and hard to keep them still for moon gazing but nothing that a tripod wont sort.

Comes with a bag, strap, lens cloth and a tripod bracket.

Cannot fault them.

We are both birdwatchers and aircraft spotters. We wanted a pair of binoculars to replace our old 20x60s which were getting stiff to focus. We were unsure whether these 25x70s at such a LOW price would be good enough for our needs. Quite honestly they exceeded our expectations. Smooth and easy focus. Sharp image. Colours are true with no rainbow effects often experienced with lower quality binoculars. The soft feel casing make use during the winter very comfortable. The weight is no issue for us as they are only a few gramms heavier than our old 20x60s. Overall, we're extremely pleased with our purchase and the quality far exceeds what would be expected for the price. If there is a negative, it would be for birdwatchers with a small garden. The minimum focusing distance is around 80ft
