No problem, plugged into both Linux and Windows 7 and it works. Copied all my mail across from Sandisk 4Gb to this Samsung 8Gb but Thunderbird runs more slowly. I thought that the old one was also class 6. Looks to be about 70% of speed of the Sandisk. No indication on either as to the expected speed and I have done no scientific testing.
