For a first telescope it's fine. The finder scope needs an upgrade (the mount and adjuster screws are not very easy to use), and the tripod's a bit wobbly. This is a telescope for beginners. Small, light to carry and well built. The backpack stinks of Chinese low grade plastics. Not a major fault, but annoying. It works well for observing wildlife but its quality (and the flimsy tripod) impairs any DPO astronomical observing. Better fitted for the observation of closer celestial bodies (moon and solar planets).Value For Money Overall Rating Build Quality
