Mostly good with one small minus

This is exactly what I needed! Will take me safely on rough ground and help reduce camera shake in the field.
Only crit - I suspect the compass will speedily get lost when camera is in use.

A useful piece of kit

Ideal as a lightweight walking aid and monopod. Comfortable for walking with and holds my SLR safely, though I still keep the camera strap round my neck just in case I let go of the monopod

It has improved the sharpness of my landscapes.

Good value for money

My main use for this is as a monopod and it is a great pity that you have no control over where the camera stops when it is screwed on, IE: depending which camera I put on the handle end up sticking out at all angles, and you have to be carefull not to poke yourself in the face if it is facing backwards'
Apart fom this it is a good product at a very good price.
